Oregon formation records for prospect research.

Delivery timing is confirmed before activation. Source publication delays, holidays and collection status can affect when records become available. A collected record count is not a guarantee of a complete statewide batch.

What Oregon publishes

Read the published fields in context.

Oregon LLC articles require an individual with direct knowledge, who may be an authorized representative. Member and manager disclosures on the formation form are optional. A named person therefore need not be an owner. Check the principal address and later annual reports for additional evidence.

Fields to review in a sample

  • Entity name and registry number
  • Type: LLC, corporation, LP or LLP
  • Filing date and status
  • Registered agent and registered office
  • Members or managers with addresses
  • Principal place of business
  • Email and phone where matched

Understand the agent role

A registered agent receives legal documents for the company. Hiring a commercial agent does not establish that the company is a shell, lacks an operating address, or has no useful contacts. Check the principal or mailing address and named officials separately; an agent address alone does not locate the operating business.

Confirm the available fields in a current sample before activation. A blank field is missing information, not proof that an operating address or contact does not exist.

Oregon questions

Before you start.

Where does the Oregon data come from?

The Oregon Secretary of State, Corporation Division. Current collection and delivery coverage is confirmed before activation.

Do renewals keep records current?

Filing methods and report schedules do not establish current contacts or comparative accuracy. Check the date and contents of the relevant source document, and verify operating activity and contact relevance separately.
