Which states can I get today?
Our coverage list grows continuously as we bring new registries online. Rather than publish a list that goes stale, we confirm exactly which of your selected states are live at checkout — and you are never billed for a state we haven’t turned on yet. Select what you want and we’ll tell you where you stand.
Where does the data come from?
Public business registries maintained by each state’s Secretary of State or equivalent filing office. We pull new filings every business day, parse them into one consistent schema, and normalize names, addresses, and entity types so a record from one state looks like a record from any other.
How complete is the contact information?
Entity name, type, filing date, status, registered agent, officers, and principal address come straight from the filing and are present on effectively every record. Email and phone are appended where we can match them confidently, and we measure that match rate at up to 85% depending on state and entity type. We never invent a contact to fill a column; a blank field means we didn’t have it.
What about companies formed by registered agents?
We exclude them entirely. A large share of filings are submitted by agent services on behalf of their clients, and the only address on the record is a mail-forwarding suite you can’t actually sell into. Those entities never enter your feed, and you are never charged for them. We don’t sell you addresses you can’t use.
When does the file arrive?
By 8am in your local time zone, every business day, covering the previous business day’s filings. Weekends and state holidays roll into the next delivery. If a registry is down, we tell you rather than send a short file.
Can I resell or redistribute the data?
The underlying filings are public record. Feed and Feed + API are licensed for your own internal use and outreach. If you want to surface the data inside a product you sell, an all-states subscription includes a redistribution licence — or we’ll write one for the states you actually need.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep every file we’ve already sent you and every record you’ve already pulled. Billing stops at the end of the current month, there’s no exit fee, and no one from sales calls you to ask why.
