Where does the Texas data come from?
The Texas Secretary of State, Corporations Section — the registry behind SOSDirect. New filings are pulled every business day and normalized into the same schema as every other state we run.
Do I get the governing persons, not just the agent?
Yes, where the certificate lists them. Texas requires governing persons on the formation document for most entity types, which makes it one of the better states for reaching an actual decision-maker rather than a service company.
Does it cover the whole state?
Yes — it’s a single statewide registry, so Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and every small county filing arrive in the same file. Filter by city or ZIP if you work a territory.
