Understand the agent role
A registered agent receives legal documents for the company. Hiring a commercial agent does not establish that the company is a shell, lacks an operating address, or has no useful contacts. Check the principal or mailing address and named officials separately; an agent address alone does not locate the operating business.
Confirm the available fields in a current sample before activation. A blank field is missing information, not proof that an operating address or contact does not exist.

What is the UBI number?
The Unified Business Identifier (UBI) is a Washington business identifier. Where supplied, keep it with the source jurisdiction and verify that the other record uses the same identifier before matching. A shared name alone does not establish that two records describe the same business.
